Description
Stellar HR, on behalf of a leading Risk Mitigation and Advisory firm, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Risk Advisor to support clients in identifying, assessing, and managing operational, financial, and compliance risks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of risk frameworks, audit principles, and organizational controls, with the ability to translate insights into practical, actionable recommendations.
This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and communicate complex information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across operational, financial, and compliance areas.
Evaluate internal controls, business processes, and risk exposure using established risk and audit methodologies.
Prepare clear, concise, and actionable risk reports and recommendations for client stakeholders.
Support clients in developing or improving risk mitigation strategies, frameworks, and policies.
Monitor emerging risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes that may impact client operations.
Engage with cross-functional teams to strengthen risk culture and enhance control effectiveness.
Assist in audits, compliance reviews, and consulting projects as required.
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional ethics in all engagements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, or related discipline).
3–4 years’ experience in Accounting, Risk, or Audit.
Experience in consulting is an added advantage.
Professional risk certification (e.g., CRM, CRMA, CISA, CIA) is a strong added advantage.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Excellent communication skills—capable of writing clear reports and presenting findings professionally.
High levels of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
